In the second part of my Madeira travel photography series, I visit two spectacular locations on the island – Sao Lourenco and Pico Do Arieiro.
Sao Lourenco is a peninsula on the easternmost point of the island and is particularly known for its rugged and dramatic coastline.
It’s a spectacular sunrise location due to its eastern outlook and as a peninsula, it offers a great location to experience changeable weather conditions ideally suited for landscape photography.
In the video, I visit Sao Lourenco on two occasions with each visit offering something different. I offer some tips and advice about being prepared when it comes to visiting a new location and how you can learn from my mistakes.
Pico Aerio is the third-highest peak on the island and another spectacular location to do some photography. I visit this location three times with the hope of capturing some epic conditions.
In the video, I share my successes and failures at this location and what I would do next time. I hope you enjoy watching the video.
